Is there a right or wrong way to put on the crankshaft pulley after a timing belt change? I checked and cylinder 1 is set at TDC on compression stroke. The crankshaft pulley mark is at about 40 when cylinder 1 is at TDC. When using a timing gun on cylinder one , the mark is about 40. Is the crankshaft pulley supposed to be alligned with any marks when installed after the timingbelt change?
